I curate, write and help produce the "On the Block" page for Galerie magazine, featuring extraordinary auction lots from around the world.

As an Editor of Art + Auction and then longtime contributing writer to the magazine, I’ve covered every aspect of the high-end art market including fine and decorative arts, design, jewelry and collectibles.

I have lent my expertise in Judaica, Hebraica and Jewish cultural history to the online publication since its launch in 2009, researching and writing groundbreaking features and advising fellow writers and editors.

I authored a series of exclusive features for the storied Jewish newspaper on landmark Judaica auctions and little-known Jewish aspects of the larger art market.

My features for the magazine have focused on art-centric projects that bridge art, architecture and design in innovative ways.

My timely 2011 feature documented the growing presence of dance in art spaces and contemporary artists incorporating dance into performance art, a development that has since become widespread.

Following the publication of my 2006 feature on the growing trend of mixing art and design and rebranding contemporary decorative arts, I was credited with coining the term "design-as-art-movement."

I spearheaded an initiative to update and digitize the Heschel Holocaust Archives so that survivors' stories can be preserved and shared for future generations.

My 2011 opinion piece, "The Running of the Dogs" was a NYC conversation starter, eliciting strong reactions on both sides of the argument.
